🌍 Cleaner air through innovation in *Westminster City Council As part of the IPEC Cohort programme, we’ve been proud to support Westminster in their efforts to drive change through smarter procurement for addressing complex challenges like air quality. Now, the council has reached a major milestone: the trial phase of a pilot project aimed at reducing harmful PM2.5 emissions from local restaurants. One of the participating venues is the sustainable Mayfair restaurant *Apricity Restaurant, where new air purification technology is being tested to protect the health of staff, diners, and the wider community. 👨‍🍳 "This data will allow us to see when there's a peak, what caused that peak and what we can do to try and remedy it." – @Eve Seemann, Head Chef at Apricity This is a great example of how public sector innovation and cross-sector collaboration can unlock real-world impact - cleaner air, healthier communities, and a fairer environment.
